General Principles
Our whitelist server aims to bring the SCP universe to life with a high-quality, realistic, and in-depth Hard Roleplay understanding. Each player is responsible for reflecting their character's psychology, fears, goals, and hierarchical responsibilities in the most realistic way possible. Everyone who enters the server is considered to have accepted the general Discord and Roleplay rules of Yayın Dünyamız.
In the Whitelist, the character is permanent: their experiences, rank, rewards, and penalties are carried over to the next role.
Participation Conditions
- Age: You must be at least 15 years old. For applicants who demonstrate high-level role experience and maturity in their application and interview, this limit can be relaxed to 14 with the decision of the authorities.
- Microphone: A clear, noise-free, and understandable microphone is mandatory. Background sounds (music, TV, etc.) should be blocked during the role.
- Universe knowledge: Intermediate-advanced level knowledge of the SCP Foundation hierarchy, protocols, Class-D structure, and general lore is required.
- Record: Applications from individuals with a history of frequent penalties, active bans, or Whitelist bans in our Roleplay server and affiliated servers are directly rejected.
- Application can only be made through the Forms section of this site, by logging in with your Discord account. Fill out the form completely.
- Fill out your application yourself; do not copy answers from somewhere else or from a sample form.
- Do not send a new application while your application is being reviewed. You can see the result on the My Forms page.
- The owner of the accepted application is invited to an interview. Whitelist is not given directly; it is assigned to the Steam account you wrote on the form after you pass the interview. Do not share your account with anyone else.
- If you are rejected, read the authorized note in My Forms, complete your deficiencies, and apply again.
- Fooling around, trolling, disrespect, cheating, getting help from outside, or sharing questions during the interview will result in the cancellation of the interview and a Whitelist ban. Having a whitelist previously does not exempt you from the interview.
It is forbidden to enter the Whitelist server without filling out the Whitelist form. The penalty is 5/5 warnings; repetition results in being Whitelist Banned.
Character criteria
Realism
- The character should not be overly powerful, overly weak, fearless, or godlike. They should have both positive and negative traits, and these should be balanced in the writing.
- Traumas, events, and happy moments in their past enrich the role-playing experience. A long and planned past is a sign of a good character.
- The past should be consistent within itself. For example, being a captain at the age of 19 is impossible in terms of both education and experience.
- Instead of using fictional schools and departments, spend a few minutes researching and use real university and department names.
Role Suitability
- The character's past should be compatible with the department they have chosen: for a security officer, a background in policing or private security, for a researcher, an academic career and awards, for an engineer, large projects, and for a doctor, surgeries and calmness.
- Do not write a character who knows and can do everything; exaggerated versatility is a flaw.
- Write concrete achievements in the "important achievements" section. Sentences like "has achieved important things" are not accepted.
- There should be a special point that explains why the Foundation chose you.
First Encounter with the Foundation
- The character joins the Foundation for the first time and learns about the Foundation for the first time; write their reactions accordingly.
- Instead of "the Foundation suddenly came to my home", write a realistic and secretive recruitment story. The Foundation is a disciplined and secretive organization; the character should be prepared for this.
- Everyone starts from the lowest rank.
Basic language skills (spelling, punctuation, sentence and paragraph structure) are mandatory.
Basic Hard RP Rules
- Powergaming is prohibited: Impossible actions that exceed your character's physical or mental limits and do not give the other party a chance to react are prohibited. Wrong: "/me trips, drops, takes the gun and shoots in the head." Correct: "/me tries to disrupt the other's balance with his right foot." and you wait for the other party's reaction with /do.
- Metagaming is prohibited: Using information that your character has not learned in the game (Discord, broadcasts, administrator chats, etc.) in role-playing is strictly prohibited.
- Force RP is prohibited: You cannot impose your own scenario on the other party without their consent or role-playing background.
- Fear RP is mandatory: Your character is not a superhero. They should reflect fear of death when faced with a gun, SCP threat, minority, or risk of death. A D-Class who attacks an armed security personnel with bare hands violates Fear RP.
- NLR is mandatory: When your character dies, a new life begins; they do not remember who killed them, where they died, or the last events.
- Mixing is prohibited: Transferring out-of-character (OOC) conversations into in-character (IC) or vice versa is strictly prohibited.
Special and Sensitive Roles
Suicide and Self-Harm
- It must have a very strong, long-term and documented roleplay background (psychological breakdown, severe torture, inevitable SCP effect, etc.). Saying "I'm depressed" or "I want to end my role" is not a valid reason.
- Before engaging in this role, a detailed justification must be presented to the Whitelist Coordinator and written approval must be obtained. Unauthorized suicide roleplay is considered Powergaming and role cancellation, and a warning is given.
Actions that Affect the Fate of the Facility
- Actions such as starting a riot, sabotaging security protocols, kidnapping or killing a high-level personnel, or leaking data outside the facility cannot be initiated without the approval of the Whitelist administration.
- Decisions are not instantaneous: cell punishment, disciplinary investigation, or injury will reflect on the role in the following days.
Unnecessary Aggressive RP
- It is forbidden to insult, provoke, use violence, or unnecessarily escalate tension without a roleplay reason.
- Players who constantly seek conflict (Gun RP) or exhibit provocative behavior will be removed without warning.
Physical Contact and Fight Roles
- Physical intervention of multiple people to a character, incapacitation, hostage-taking, or equipment seizure is included in this scope (for example, 4-5 D-Class jumping on a security guard).
- Such roles can only be played among Whitelisted players.
- All physical contact actions must be described step by step with /me and /do, in detail. Superficial descriptions like "jumps on, takes the gun" are invalid.
- Actions that leave permanent damage, prolonged torture, and humiliating scenes cannot be done without the special permission of the administration.
- In case of a dispute, a video recording (POV) is requested. If there is no evidence, the decision of the authorities is binding.
Continuity, Exit, and CK / PK
- It is mandatory to inform the Whitelist Coordinator or Whitelist Moderator before exiting the server during the role. Sudden exit without notification results in Whitelist Ban.
- If a valid excuse is not reported, failing to attend the main role or event twice in a row results in the character being CK'd, and all progress is reset to zero.
- CK (Character Kill): The character dies permanently; their story, memory, and rank are deleted. You start from scratch with a new character.
- PK (Player Kill): The character is temporarily out of role (e.g., fainting, memory wip
